Tonight WWE performs a SmackDown show again. In WWE Smackdown today’s episode, we will see Sami Zayn defending the Intercontinental Championship against Ricochet, and The Usos will put the SmackDown Tag Team Championship on the line against The Viking Raiders. In the first match of the night, Sami Zayn defends the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Ricochet.

• Ricochet becomes the new WWE Intercontinental Champion after defeating Sami Zayn thanks to the interference of Johnny Knoxville.

Backstage, an angry Sami Zayn claims the WWE Intercontinental Championship belongs to him and challenges Johnny Knoxville to a match at WrestleMania.

Austin Theory enters the ring and asks Pat McAfee why Vince McMahon went to his show and Theory himself says that he set him up. Also Austin tells Pat that he is his opponent at WrestleMania 38 and punches him in the face.

Naomi enters the ring to confront Carmella.

• Naomi defeats Carmella for three.

Drew McIntyre enters the ring to face Jinder Mahal.

• Drew McIntyre takes the victory with a Claymore.

Rick Boogs comes out to the ring and introduces Nakamura, although they are both attacked by The Usos. After that Roman Reigns goes out to the ring. Reigns claims that he will destroy anyone who gets in his way. He also says that he is the one in charge of deciding the rules and that he does what he wants and that at WrestleMania he will destroy Brock Lesnar and defeat him by three, which will lead him to lift the Universal Championship and the WWE Championship. He further states that Lesnar will have no choice but to acknowledge him.

The Viking Raiders enter the ring to face The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship.

• The Usos retain the SmackDown Tag Team Championship after defeating The Viking Raiders.

Big E enters the ring to face Sheamus. Before the fight begins, Sheamus and Ridge Holland attack The New Day and steal their Quad.

Backstage, Johnny Knoxville accepts Sami Zayn’s challenge, so both will face each other at WrestleMania 38.

Sonya Deville enters the ring to face Ronda Rousey.

• Ronda Rousey takes the victory by submission. After the match, Charlotte Flair tried to attack Rousey, but Ronda managed to apply an Angle Lock on her.
