In 2022, STARDOM introduced the NEW BLOOD series, which culminated in the first-ever NEW BLOOD Premium event held live at Yokohama Budokan. The event featured two semifinal matches and a final to crown the inaugural NEW BLOOD Tag Team Champions. Additionally, Waka Tsukiyama teamed up with Tam Nakano to take on KAIRI and Nanae Takahashi in tag team action, which served as Tsukiyama’s last chance to remain in Cosmic Angels and STARDOM.
